Preparation & Directions

  1. In a medium bowl combine the thawed hash browns and butter. Use a potato masher or fork and mash until it is only slightly chunky. 

  2. Add in the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, pepper and chopped dill. Mix to combine. 

  3. Whisk the eggs with the butter milk until blended. Pour the buttermilk/egg mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until combined.

  4. Spray your waffle maker with baking spray and preheat according to your waffle iron instruction manual.

  5. Once preheated pour the batter into the waffle iron, close and cook until golden and crispy.

  6. Serve the waffles with a few strips of bacon and top with a fried egg.
