Official Rules
Sponsor: General Mills Sales, Inc., One General Mills Boulevard, Minneapolis, MN 55440 (“General Mills” or “Sponsor”).
Entry Period: Sweepstakes is open between January 18, 2019 at 4:00 pm Central Time (“CT”) and January 22, 2019 at 11:59 am CT (the “Entry Period”). Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older. Employees of General Mills, Whole Foods, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or household members (whether or not related) of each are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
How to Enter: To receive one (1) entry (“Entry”) during the Entry Period, visit the Muir Glen page on Instagram at www.Instagram.com/muirglen and follow the specified instructions to post a comment with 1) your favorite game day snack 2) tag a friend you’ll be watching the big game with and 3) include the hashtags #muirglen #sweepstakes in your post. Entry must have all described elements to be eligible to win. An Instagram account is required to enter and is available for free at http://instagram.com. All terms and conditions of Instagram.com apply. You must have a data service plan with your wireless service provider or wireless internet service for your web-enabled mobile device and a device that supports the Instagram application to enter. By entering this Sweepstakes, you understand that data rates may apply. See your wireless provider for pricing plan details and mobile device capabilities. Void where prohibited by law. Limit one (1) entry per person using only one (1) Instagram account through the Entry Period. Entry requests generated by script, macro or other automated or improper means are void.
Prizes: Twenty (20) $100.00 gift cards to Whole Foods. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of all prizes: $2,000. Prize recipients are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, if any. Limit of one (1) prize per person throughout the Sweepstakes.
Drawing and Awarding of Prizes; Verification of Winner: Sponsor will select twenty (20) potential winners (each, a “Potential Winner”) by a random drawing from all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period on or around January 23, 2019. Potential winners will be notified on or about the day after the prize drawing via Instagram message consistent with the Potential Winner’s winning Entry. Prizes will be mailed within 2 to 4 weeks from date of winner verification. A Potential Winner is not an official winner (“Winner”) until his/her eligibility has been verified and he/she has been notified that verification is complete. Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. If the Instagram application fails or becomes corrupted for any reason, any Entry during that time will be deemed a defective Entry and is void. Drawing will be conducted by Sponsor whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes, including random drawing of winners. If a Potential Winner cannot be contacted, prize is returned as undeliverable, or he/she refuses his/her prize for any reason, that Potential Winner forfeits the prize and Sponsor will select an alternate winner by random drawing from all remaining eligible entries.
Comment Conditions: Entries may be deemed void if Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that a post (i) is sexually explicit or suggestive; violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; (ii) depicts or identifies a child that is not the child or legal ward of the entrant; (iii) promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or firearms/weapons; promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; (iv) is obscene or offensive; (v) contains defamatory or disparaging remarks about other people or companies; (vi) contains personal identification, such as personal names or e-mail addresses; (vii) contains materials owned or controlled by others, without permission; (viii) communicates messages inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which Sponsor wishes to associate; or (ix) violates any law.
General Conditions: Sweepstakes may be withdrawn without prior notice. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, or undelivered entries, posts or photos, incorrect, changed or non-functioning Instagram accounts; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, printer errors, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entry requests, posts, photos, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants’ or to any other person’s computer or printer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Sweepstakes, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’ sole opinion, compromised by bugs, virus, worms, non-authorized human intervention or other causes, which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or submission of information, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries/posts/photos received prior to action taken. By participating, you agree (i) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which are final and binding, and (ii) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, and advertising and Sweepstakes agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents against any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance and use of an prize. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
